Quick answer
Three people can read a feedback request and its answer: the person who asked, the person who answered, and the requester's manager. HR admins cannot read it. Answers cannot be edited after they are sent.
Why can't HR admins read it?
Feedback on demand is a personal ask between colleagues. Reviews is where formal assessments live and where HR reads them; keeping this module separate is what makes people willing to ask candidly. The rule is enforced in the database, so no page or report can widen it.
What does my manager see?
Your manager sees every request you made and its answer, in the same shape you see it. They do not see requests other people made of you unless they also manage those people.
Frequently asked questions
- Can HR read it?
- No. There is no HR-admin read on feedback requests or answers — the database refuses it, not just the screen. HR reads formal assessments in Reviews, which is a different module.
- Can my manager see feedback I gave to someone else?
- Only if they also manage the person who asked. Readers are the requester, the person asked, and the requester's manager — nobody else.
- Can I edit my answer later?
- No. An answer is sent once and cannot be edited or withdrawn, so both sides know the record is exactly what was written.
