Quick answer
Asset Management registers every device in tenant-defined categories, assigns them to employees with a notified acknowledgement step, and keeps an event timeline per asset — assigned, acknowledged, returned, repaired, retired — so you always know who holds what and in what condition.
For admins
The Assets page shows the fleet with status filters and stats (available, assigned, in repair, retired). Register assets with auto-suggested tags, assign or take returns via dialogs, and manage categories from the same screen. Every action lands on the asset's timeline, so audits are one click.
For employees
My Assets lists everything assigned to you. Acknowledge receipt when something new arrives — that stamp protects both you and the company — and check what you're expected to return during offboarding.
Frequently asked questions
- Do employees confirm they received an asset?
- Yes. When an asset is assigned, the employee sees it under My Assets and acknowledges receipt — the acknowledgement is stamped on the asset's timeline.
- What happens when someone leaves?
- The offboarding clearance checklist includes collecting assets; return each one from its detail view and it goes back to the available pool.
