Quick answer
Go to Settings and open Notifications. There you choose how ASHR reaches you — by email, by Slack, or both — and which events notify you, like leave approved, an approval needed, a review due, announcements or helpdesk updates. Toggle each event per channel and save.
Which channels can I use?
ASHR can reach you two ways:
- Email — messages land in your inbox.
- Slack — messages come as a Slack notification.
You can use one or both. Slack only works if the ASHR Slack app is connected to your account.
Which events can I control?
You can toggle notifications for events such as:
- Leave approved or rejected — the outcome of your request.
- Approval needed — something is waiting for you to approve.
- Review due — an appraisal task needs your attention.
- Announcements — company-wide news.
- Helpdesk updates — replies on your support tickets.
Each event has its own switch, per channel, so you can be very specific.
