The Directory at /directory lists everyone in your organisation. Search by name, email or employee ID, and narrow the list with filters for department, location, workforce type and status. Click any person to open their profile. Salary and other private details are never shown here.
How do I search for someone?
At the top of /directory there is a search box. Type any of these and the list narrows instantly:
- A person's name (e.g. "Priya")
- Their email address
- Their employee ID (e.g. "DM0008")
How do the filters work?
Filters help when you want a group rather than one person. You can filter the list by:
- Department (e.g. Engineering)
- Location (e.g. Chennai office)
- Workforce type (e.g. full-time, contractor)
- Status (e.g. active)
You can combine filters — for example, active full-time people in the Chennai office — to get exactly the list you need.
How do I open someone's profile?
Click a person's row and their profile opens, showing the details that everyone is allowed to see, such as their role, department and work contact. Private information is never included here.
Can I export the list?
Admins and managers may see an Export button. It downloads the currently filtered list as a CSV file, so if you filter to one department first, only those people are exported. If you do not see the button, exporting is not part of your role.
What is kept private?
Everyone in your org is visible in the directory, but sensitive details are not. Things like salary and other private data never appear here, so the directory is safe to browse.
